Yasmin Ratansi is a Canadian politician, former member of Canadian Parliament and currently the nominated candidate for Don Valley East. Ratansi was the first Muslim woman elected to the Canadian House of Commons. She is serving as a member of the Certified General Accountants of Ontario, Canadian Council of Muslim Women (CCMW) and the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption (GOPAC).
